Jamie Cooks Graduation Lunch at Fifteen Cornwall

Jamie Oliver at Fifteen Cornwall
Reservations are now being taken for a special fundraising lunch at Fifteen Cornwall, Watergate Bay, on Thursday 11th June, when Jamie Oliver will be donning his chef whites and getting back in the kitchen.

Returning to Fifteen Cornwall for the graduation of the latest apprentices, and to welcome in the new cohort, Jamie will accompany Executive Chef Neil Haydock and the team of professional chefs to create a sublime three course lunch using the finest local seasonal ingredients. Fifteen Cornwall proudly aims to use a minimum of 80% local Cornish produce.

In what promises to be a fun and relaxed occasion, Jamie will be chatting to guests to take them through the menu. Dave Meneer, Fifteen Cornwall’s CEO, will be on hand to give guests a chance to put some questions to Jamie over the course of the lunch.

Later in the day Jamie will attend a private graduation ceremony for this year’s White Hats (Fifteen Cornwall’s apprentice chefs) after a year of training and experience in the kitchen. Fifteen Cornwall is wholly owned by the registered charity, The Cornwall Foundation of Promise, which supports and inspires disadvantaged young people in Cornwall; it was the third ‘Fifteen’ restaurant to open, back in May 2006. The lunch does not include admission to this ceremony which is a private occasion for family, friends and supporters.

The graduation ceremony will see the launch of ‘The First 1000 Days,’ a report on the first three years in business at Fifteen Cornwall.

Reservations for this unique lunch are strictly limited and cost £100 per head for three courses, including a glass of prosecco on arrival.

To make a reservation, call Fifteen Cornwall on 01637 861000.

All profits from Fifteen Cornwall go to the Cornwall Foundation of Promise to fund the Fifteen Cornwall chef training programme.

  1. It's good that Jaime has agreed to use predominantly Cornish produce! I still haven't eaten at Fifteen but everyone who I have spoken to and has been there raves about it (except for some of the local restaurant owners). His initiatives are great and well thought out so I say good on him.. Hope to pay a visit there soon
