Our island nation is a rich hotch-potch of culture, history and heritage. There is so much to explore, especially in Cornwall. This September why not visit one of the county's Heritage Open Days, they are all free and there's lots of opportunity to get involved, running from the 9th - 18th September.

Just a few of the places open to you this month are:

Luxulyan Valley Guided Walks:

This is a place I love to go, it is resplendent in Autumn and awash with blue come Spring. There is plenty of history here waiting to be revealed, a 6 mile walk will take in the aqueduct and the woodland lead by Friends of Luxulyan Valley. Dogs are welcome! Sunday 18th September 10am.
