Cornwall’s Home and Garden Businesses to be Showcased at Cornwall Home Show

Kingsley Village will host Cornwall’s first home and garden design show, The Cornwall Home Show, on Saturday, 30 April and Sunday, 1 May 2011.

The Cornwall Home Show will be a distinctive and vibrant exhibition, celebrating the best of Cornwall’s interior, garden and home design industry. The two day exhibition will showcase a wide variety of products, services and inspirational ideas for the home and garden.





The first event of its kind, The Cornwall Home Show is exclusively for Cornish businesses and it will give visitors to the show the chance to see more than 40 of Cornwall’s best home and garden suppliers, all showcasing the very best in home design, sustainable living, furnishing and style under one roof.



The exhibition, which is managed by Live Events South West, is calling for specialist suppliers of bespoke, traditional, rustic and contemporary products and services, including; home décor, kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, furniture and fittings, gardens, technology, and renewable energy to get in touch to secure a space at the exclusive exhibition.

Organisers are confident that the event will provide inspiration and great offers to everyone looking to refresh or update the home ahead of summer next year, as well as giving businesses an opportunity to promote their goods and services at the only Home Show in the county.

Andrew Weaver, Owner of Live Events South West said: “The Cornwall Home Show will be the perfect place for people to visit to get ideas for any room in the house or the garden. It’s the only time people will find all of Cornwall’s best home and garden businesses all in the same place. We’re encouraging exhibitors to offer special show discounts as well, so it really is an event not to be missed, make sure you get the date in your diary.”

We have so many independent, specialist home and garden suppliers in Cornwall and this event will give them all a platform to showcase the very best products. We’ve only got a limited number of stands available so I’d urge any businesses interested in exhibiting to get in touch soon.”

Painter Mark Preston has been drawn to the rugged, dramatic coastline between St Ives and Lands End since he was a fine art student in the 1990s. We are of slowly emerging out of winter, March is here, but for this month's blog post I wanted to revisit a special weekend last November at Marazion. It has to be one of the most magical places in Cornwall, an adorable village with a famous view that is ever changing as well as being ancient and immovable. A dear friend took me off to the lovely Godolphin Hotel for a weekend treat, and it really was perfect. The beauty of the colder months in Cornwall is the quietness, and it was just that, still, poignant and memorable. As you arrive in this little village, all attention centres on the island castle across the bay, and rightly so. The hotel itself is little but stylish, has a laid back charm and a playful feel. The kindest of people, they upgraded our room to one with a balcony and that fabulous view.
